2027 Benefits Open Enrollment
Nov. 2 through Nov. 13, 2026

“At Frontdoor, our associates are at the heart of our success. We are grateful for all you do. Because your health and well-being are important to us, we offer flexible, valuable benefits plans and resources to boost your journey to health and wellness.

We encourage you to take advantage of all that’s available to develop and protect you and your family’s physical, financial and behavioral health throughout the year.

Every year, we review our benefits offerings carefully to ensure they meet your needs while balancing business considerations. We work hard to stay on track with what’s happening in the market, negotiate competitive rates and provide choices that are as affordable as possible.”

— Meredith Diagostino, Chief People Officer

This is an active enrollment — action required

This year, our open enrollment will take place from Monday, Nov. 2 through Friday, Nov. 13. This enrollment is active, which means your current benefits will not carry over into 2027, and you must take action to have coverage next year.

The following changes are effective on Jan. 1, 2027.

Premium increases for medical and dental

Healthcare costs continue to rise nationwide, affecting the cost of providing medical and dental coverage. While Frontdoor is absorbing a large portion of the cost increases, associate contributions for medical and dental coverage will increase in 2027.

Updates to medical and prescription coverage

Medical network changes

We’re making changes to our medical provider networks in select states, including California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee and Wisconsin. If you live in one of these states, your provider network may change. We suggest you check to see if your providers will remain in network. While it will affect less than 10% of associates within those states, it would be wise to verify beforehand. Please check back here soon, as we’ll be publishing a link to verify providers in the new networks within those eight states.

Medical plan changes

There are plan changes to all the medical plans. For the PPO Plan, a fourth prescription drug tier will be added for specialty medications, and there are increases to copays for emergency room visits and prescription drugs. For the CDHP plans, the annual deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and prescription drug coinsurance are increasing. Review the Benefits Guide (coming soon!) for more details.

Changes to additional wellness programs

NEWDigbi Health: weight, gut and cardiometabolic health
Digbi will replace WeightWatchers, Omada weight-loss support and Livongo prediabetes care. Eligibility requires Frontdoor medical plan participation and applicable clinical criteria. Learn more about Digbi.

NEWVirtual care through Teladoc
Beginning in 2027, virtual care will be provided by Teladoc through BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBS of TN). You’ll have access to care for common illnesses and non-emergency medical needs, behavioral health services, dermatology services and nutrition support.

Updated GLP-1 coverage

Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, GLP-1 medications prescribed for weight loss will no longer be covered under the Frontdoor prescription drug plans. GLP-1 medications prescribed for diabetes will continue to be covered through Express Scripts.

Frontdoor is introducing Digbi, a program offering support for cardiometabolic health, gut health and GLP-1 treatment. You will have access to direct-to-consumer services, with a $200 monthly subsidy from Frontdoor; out-of-pocket costs will vary by medication and dosage.

Updated diabetes support

Express Scripts will continue managing diabetes medications, including GLP-1s. Participants must provide clinical proof of diabetes and participate in Omada’s lifestyle support program.

NEWMedicare decision support through Allsup

Understanding Medicare and your coverage options can be complicated. Beginning this October, Allsup will provide complimentary, confidential Medicare plan comparisons, along with financial and provider analysis to medical plan participants age 65 and older.
