Frontdoor provides Business Travel Accident (BTA) Insurance at no cost to you. Your coverage includes:
- Financial protection if you experience a covered serious injury or death while traveling
- Up to $500,000 for eligible medically necessary hospital and medical expenses when traveling outside your home country or country of permanent assignment
- Help accessing medical care, evacuation, and other emergency services when you’re away from home
- Support for unexpected situations such as baggage delays, lost baggage, trip cancellation or trip delays
How your coverage works
If you’re injured in an accident while traveling
This plan provides Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits if a covered accident results in death or certain serious injuries. The amount paid depends on the type of covered loss.
Additional benefits may also be available for expenses or services related to a covered accident, including:
- Bereavement and trauma support
- Emergency and family reunification
- Rehabilitation
- Childcare
- Home or vehicle modifications
- Special counseling or education
- Vehicle return
If you need medical care outside your home country
When traveling outside your home country or country of permanent assignment, the plan provides up to $500,000 for eligible medically necessary hospital and medical expenses related to a covered accident or sickness.
Coverage applies to eligible treatment or services received within 60 days of the covered accident or sickness.
If you have a travel emergency
If you’re traveling more than 100 miles from your permanent residence on company business, you have access to emergency response benefits, including:
- Emergency medical services
- Emergency medical evacuation
- Repatriation of remains
- Security evacuation expenses, including certain natural disasters when traveling outside your home country
If your trip doesn’t go as planned
Your coverage also includes benefits for certain unexpected travel disruptions, including:
- Baggage delay
- Lost baggage
- Personal property
- Trip cancellation
- Trip delay
